Karate has been a life long journey for me. I started training at the age of 10. Here I am nearly thirty years later enjoying the simplicity and the complexity of karate. I met my wife as a result of training karate and we have shared wonderful moments together training and travelling to compete representing our province and our country. I have had the pleasure of making many new friends along the way.
My educational background is a Bachelors in Kinesiology and I have worked as an athletic therapist for varsity athletes and conducted research studying the human body. The biomechanics of movement is fascinating to me and I teach karate movement keeping in mind what the body is capable of doing and how this is different for each individual. I look forward to guiding you in your training.
